The Orientation Programme was conducted for the students during the Academic year 2011-2012. In that Programme Chennai Maranagana Viji, Chair Person addressed the first year students.

There was a Seven-day Special Camp which was held at Silukkapatti, Lakshmipuram, Pudhur, Kathalampatti , Mandapasalai. Programme Officers Mr. S. Ganesan, Mr. R. Stephen Ponnaiah, Mrs. G. Renuka Devi, Mrs. M. Kiruthika, Mrs. Kanmani were run the programme successfully

In Madathupatti, General Medical Camp was conducted by our NSS Programme Officers. In that Camp Blood group test, Sugar test were made freely to help the villagers and around the place.

In our campus, The environmental day was celebrated by NSS. Competitions were conducted like Oration, Drawing, Singing and Prizes were given to the students.

In this academic year NSS Programme Officer Mr. R. Stephen Ponnaiah has delivered his address as a resource person in the camp which was organized by The American College, Madurai.

Blood Donation Camp was conducted in M. Reddiyapatti to create awareness in the midst of the people.

In VHNSN College, many competitions were conducted to celebrate the Voters Day. Our College students actively participated in the events on behalf of NSS.
