NCC REPORT 2010 – 2011
Anti-Tobacco rally was conducted on 6th Oct 2010 in Aruppukottai to create the awareness among the People. NCC day was celebrated at V.S.V.N. Polytechnic college virudhunagar on 22 Nov 2010. Our cadet M.Murugan attended the Trekking Camp in Valley of flower & Hamkun sahib from 4.9.10 to 17.9.10. M.Murugaraj attended the TSC camp in Delhi. M.Alagarsamy II B.Com., (CA) attended the NIC camp, Chennai. T.Kohilavani attended the GP RDC lanch Camp at Arulmigu Senthilandavar Polytechnic college, Tenkasi from 15.9.10 to 24.9.10. Two cadets participated in NIC-I camp in Jammu from 11.11.10 to 22.11.10. M.Murugaraj participated in Combined Shooting Capsule for TSC(B) at CRPF Avadi, Chennai from 2.9.10 to 11.9.10.
NCC cadets participated in Traffic control programme on 29 Sep 2010. Special training programme of drill, weapon field signal & MR for SD/SW cadets conducted in our college on 1st Feb 2011 and 2nd Feb 2011. 56 cadets undergone training in firing at Virudhunagar on 8-12-10. They have fired by .22mm rifle. Five SW cadets attended the CATC camp in SFR College, Sivakasi. 25 SD cadets appeared for ‘B’ Certificate exam on 26th Feb 2011. 23 SD/SW cadets attended ‘C’ certificate exam on 12.3.11 and 13.3.11. Last year 21 cadets passed in ‘C’ certificate exam and 33 cadets passed in ‘B’ certificate exam. 40 cadets attended the CATC camp to be held at PMMN, HSS, Thalavaipuram from 24 Dec 2010 to 02 Jan 2011.
NCC REPORT 2011 – 2012
This year 26 Senior Division (Boys) cadets were enrolled. 30 cadets participated in Local Body Election Duty. NCC day was celebrated in V.S.V.N. Polytechnic College on 26 Nov 2011. Our cadets P. Vinayahamoorthy and K. Sarathkumar attended the Army attachment camp in EME centre from 16 Sep 2011 to 30 Sep 2011. Two cadets attended the NIC-II camp in Galibeedu (Mysore) from 11 Oct 2011 to 22 Oct 2011. Five cadets attended the RDC CADRE camp at 28 (TN) Bn NCC, Virudhunagar from 14 July 2011 to 21 July 2011. Thirty cadets attended the CATC – GP RDC TRG camp in V.H.N.S.N College, Virudhunagar. Thirty three cadets attended the CATC camp in PMMN HSS, Thalavaipuram from 24.12.10 to 2.01.11. Seventeen cadets attended the CATC camp in VSVN Polytechnic college, virudhunagar from 18.5.11 to 27.5.11.
